Investor & Funding Data

Investor and funding intelligence: companies by stage and recent rounds, plus related investor or founder contacts—for GTM into funded firms, not a generic email dump.

Seed, Angel, Venture, Series funding data

Investor & funding data is for go-to-market teams that need companies defined by capital events—seed, angel, venture, and later rounds—and the people around those events (founders, finance, corporate development, or investors). It is not a substitute for a generic verified-email file and not a live cap-table or term-sheet feed.

Who this product is for

Typical buyers: vendors selling to recently funded startups (cloud, payroll, banking-as-a-service), placement agents and fund ops tools, and sales teams that trigger on “just raised.” If you only need “any VP Sales in SaaS” without a funding constraint, targeted leads is the better fit. If you need fintech industry coverage regardless of round, use startup & fintech data.

Coverage and fields

The spine of the file is the company plus a funding context: stage or round type where classified, timing band for the last known round, industry, geography, and contacts tied to that company or to associated investor organizations. Amounts, valuations, and lead-investor names are included only when a public or licensed source supports them; missing amounts are left blank rather than guessed.

Qualification limits

Funding data decays: rounds close privately, accelerators get mis-tagged, and “Series A” labels disagree across sources. A contact at a funded company may not control budget. Investor emails are for B2B vendor or research outreach, not for fundraising spam to LPs. We do not provide material non-public information, limited-partner rolls, or personal net-worth files.

Bulk lists vs custom verification

A bulk extract is a filterable snapshot (stage, geo, industry). Custom builds apply your trigger (for example “US seed in the last 12 months, finops titles”) and re-verify that contact slice. Verification confirms mailbox health at pull time. It does not confirm that the round is still the latest, that the investor still leads the account, or that your email is wanted. Refresh cadence should match how fast your segment raises—often monthly, not annually. See how often to refresh B2B contact data.

Responsible use

Do not use funding tags to harass founders or to imply you are an investor. Honor opt-outs. Keep a captured-at date on funding fields so SDRs do not pitch a 2019 round as news. Combine with firmographic scoring rather than treating “raised capital” as a purchase intent signal by itself.
